Turkish stock market opens higher on Wednesday

(MENAFN) Türkiye’s main stock index opened Wednesday at 11,317.01 points, marking a 0.24% increase (26.64 points) from the previous session’s close.

On Tuesday, the BIST 100 had declined 0.18%, closing at 11,290.36 points, with a total daily trading volume of 120.9 billion Turkish liras ($2.82 billion).

As of 09:55 a.m. local time (06:55 GMT), exchange rates were 42.8490 Turkish liras per US dollar, 50.7135 per euro, and 58.1435 per British pound. Gold was priced at $4,495.20 per ounce, while Brent crude oil traded at $62.10 per barrel.
